We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel receptionist and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were friendly and took great care of my wife who is gluten free. From my seat outside I could see the Torre Altabella which was a nice touch. The food was all excellent however the star attraction is the extensive gluten free menu (I've posted photos of it under the menu section). If you are gluten free and struggling for decent options in Bologna this is the place for you. If you are not gluten free the main menu is also delicious, the service is excellent and the staff were all really helpful.

The lasagna Verdi was very good. Service was a bit slow. Not very busy for a Fri night due to cold weather & light rain. The soup, pasta fa zul was ok. Pizza was drenched in too much tomato sauce & soggy. Overall mediocre despite high recommendation from hotel staff.

Very nice and big restaurant, 5 min from the city center on a less crowded street. A full menu of gluten free stuff, I enjoyed the lasagna and chocolate cake with mascarpone cream. Decent prices for good quality, very kind and prompt staff. I highly recommend it.

Great great pizzas, thin and firm. Excellent toppings. Gluten free pasta was also good. Ambience was a little underwhelming but otherwise is a good place

The food was excellent. The kind waiter recommended a pizza to us that can not be found on the menu. The ingredients were very fresh and the waiters offered great service. I would definitely come again!

(Rating as hotel 🏩? That's wierd... Now for the food 🍕...) As we needed one gluten free dish, we decided to go with Casa Altabella. Both pizzas was great. Mine, the GIANT with gluten, turned out great. I'd like to see a few more greens on the top, but that doesnt impact the overall score. The glutenfree was the best pizza my parter have had for a good while. It was a bit smaller, but she had a personal fight, while trying to eat the last slice. In general very good pizza for the price. The beer was nothing special. Disclaimer: Its the first pizza taste in Bologna, so its always easier to impress on the first tasting 😉... Extra: One person at another table did get a box, to bring the leftovers with them. That's great to see 👍.

Incredible place! I had a lovely time there and received the best attendance ever by Irina, Pedro and Giacomo. Such a great team and lovely place to sit and enjoy delicious food. I'll definitely come back soon!

Fantastic local restaurant on a great street with a lively environment. We highly recommend the balanzoni, a traditional pasta filled with ricotta and mortadella. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, and the prices were affordable.
